Michael Jordan rose to prominence as a global symbol of the basketball game. Many still contend that Michael Jordan was the best player to ever play the game, and his time with the Chicago Bulls is still talked about today. Many of the contemporary NBA players look forward to Michael Jordan. One such player is Allen Iverson, a legendary player for the 76ers and a former MVP who recently expressed his respect for “Black Jesus.”

Another player who has affected many players in the NBA today is Allen Iverson, the legendary player from the Philadelphia 76ers. But as a child, whom did AI look up to? That would be none other than Michael Jordan, who just received affection from Iverson once more.

Recently, Allen Iverson posted a photo of Michael Jordan on his official Instagram account, captioning it “Superhero.”

Allen Iverson still considers Michael Jordan

Since Michael Jackson, many players have captured the attention of fans worldwide. Just a select few NBA players—Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry—became global icons as a result of their success. Nevertheless, Allen Iverson still views Michael Jordan as his hero. He shared his belief that Michael Jackson is a superhero with his more than 15 million followers by posting a photo of himself on his official Instagram account.

Kobe, LeBron, and a plethora of other NBA players who are either active players or have retired from the game owe a great deal to Michael Jordan. Though he continued to demonstrate respect for the Chicago Bulls star until last year, Allen Iverson might be the biggest Michael Jordan fan of them all.

The impact Mike had on players and fans throughout his playing career is demonstrated by the fact that even though Jordan retired from the league more than 20 years ago, AI still has a great deal of affection for him.
