On May 6, Angel Reese, the LSU basketball player who recently joined the Chicago Sky of the WNBA, made her debut at the Met Gala, and she looked flawless.
At the celebration, Reese celebrated her 22nd birthday and wore a gown by Marco Capaldo called 16Arlington. The glittery mint-green dress had a sheer floor-length skirt with feather accents at the waist and a halter top with a deep V-neck. She had pulled her long hair back into a chic ponytail.
The WNBA athlete wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, to commemorate her fantastic night:
“Training camp in the morning, Met Gala at night, preseason game tomorrow. Just another day in the life for Angel Reese.”
Reese, known by her undergraduate moniker “Bayou Barbie,” has been establishing herself in the fashion industry. The forward, who was selected by the Chicago Sky with the seventh choice in the WNBA draft in April, made an impression with her outfit. She wore a shimmering black and silver gown with an open back, a deep scoop neckline, and a hood for her special night.
