Will Smith has previously experienced the pinnacle of the film industry, although briefly. He made quick progress, rising to fame at the age of 22 as the lead character on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Smith went on to feature in other successful motion pictures, including Bad Boys, Men in Black, and Ali. However, he seemed to lose himself and his essence in the process. That is, at least, what he disclosed in a recent Full Send Podcast media appearance.
Will Smith talks about a “abyss” that is driven by wealth and notoriety
Smith discussed arriving to the “cliff top,” the apex of the material world, in an open and honest manner. It was his idea of the bottom, where he had encountered every possible situation.
But to be truly happy, he needed to go deeper within himself, and that wasn’t satisfying enough. Smith notes that he had to “detox” in order to get there.

That meant turning inward and disregarding the content, for him. It appears that he has achieved inner peace, and as a result, he is in a much better place.
