Angel Reese talkss how she got to be an ROTY contender

Sneaker Reporter had a quick conversation with Angel Reese prior to an important game against the Minnesota Lynx. Reese gave a humble response when questioned about her influence on the WNBA and the Rookie of the Year discussion. Reese said,

“I mean, I was picked seventh. I am not supposed to be in the Rookie of the Year conversation,” “But I am because of how hard I work-not just offensively, but also on defense and especially rebounding. Rebounding is something that you have to want to do. It’s not something that’s easy. And I don’t have anything in my life that’s been easy for me. So, I really enjoy doing it.”

There have been some amazing rookie performances in the 2024 WNBA season, and there has never been greater competition for ROTY. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have each had a big impact on their clubs and the league as a whole. The race for the coveted ROTY title between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark will continue. With just a few games left, we are all waiting wondering who wins it.
