Is Tyreek Hill Slower Than Derrick Henry?

Derrick Henry threw himself into the Bills game. With remarkable power and agility, he ran 87 yards to bring the ball home. Many questioned whether King was faster than Tyreek Hill, who has acquired notoriety for his quickness and gone by the nickname Cheetah, just after witnessing him suddenly pick up pace.

In 2016, Henry and Hill were in the same draft class. Only one Alabama alumnus, though, was invited to the NFL Combine and completed the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds. In contrast, Hill showed off his speed during West Alabama Pro Day. Incredibly, the Super Bowl champion completed his 40-yard dash in 4.29 seconds on his pro day.

These statistics, however, are insufficient to compare the two. Henry demonstrated his speed with an 87-yard touchdown run. As stated by Complex Sports: “Derrick Henry is trailing Tyreek Hill for the most runs of 20+ MPH since 2018.”

His touchdown at 21.29 mph marks the 27th occasion a person has reached 20 or more mph. In addition, this run was the Ravens’ longest ever. Even though he had accomplished this before, this was only his third career running touchdown of more than 80 yards; the longest was a 99-yard run, which set an NFL record.

Hill isn’t the fastest wideout to 40 yards, even though his time may have eclipsed Henry’s. He hasn’t been the fastest receiver by far; Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy now holds the record with a time of 4.21 seconds.

Chris Johnson is the leader of the quickest 40-yard sprint board in the running back division. But during that lengthy touchdown run, Henry had the fourth-highest speed of the season, easily outpacing Hill’s touchdown run against the Jaguars.
