Tyreek Hill Is Expected to Win the NFL MVP Award in 2024–2025, According to Marlon Humphrey

Tyreek Hill will be the MVP this season based on one famous guy. In NFL circles, Marlon Humphrey’s perspective on MVP awards is generating some discussion. In his podcast “Punchline,” the Ravens cornerback voiced his disapproval of the award’s quarterback-centric focus without holding back. His frank remark that “I don’t like any quarterbacks” opened the door to an open dialogue concerning offensive linemen.

Humphrey’s criticism extended beyond quarterbacks. He also criticized wide receivers and tight ends, calling them “push-offs.” What guidance would he give quarterbacks?

Throw the ball with some air on it, let your guy make a play.”

Regarding MVP forecasts, Humphrey delivered a surprise. Checking to see if the Ravens would be playing Miami this season, he proclaimed with confidence that Tyreek Hill would be the MVP.

He made the forecast based on Hill’s close call the previous season, when he managed an incredible 1,799 receiving yards but fell short of his goal of 2,000 yards.

Can Tyreek Hill deliver this season?

Even though co-host Jack Settleman suggested Kyler Murray as a potential winner, the chances seem to indicate otherwise. Josh Allen and C.J. Stroud are locked at +850, while Patrick Mahomes is presently preferred at +475, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Tyreek Hill is the best non-QB option at +7500, behind Christian McCaffrey.

Even though quarterbacks are the favorites, Marlon Humphrey has reason to believe that Hill can succeed. Tyreek Hill’s achievements are also attracting attention from other players in the league. He’s only becoming better at thirty, when many players start to slow down. His two consecutive 1,700-yard seasons demonstrate his reliability and dynamic playmaking skills.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) runs onto the field during pregame ceremonies of an NFL game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Nov. 19, 2023.

It’s not only the numbers, though, that are astounding. Hill’s teammates have also noticed. Tyreek Hill even took home the number one spot on the yearly Top 100 list recently. He became the first recipient of the award with this recognition, which clearly demonstrates Hill’s influence on the field.

Can he keep up this pace, then? Will he be able to cross the 2,000-yard threshold at last? Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly changing the definition of what it takes to be a top NFL receiver.
