Even after the Detroit Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys 47-9, the animosity continued on social media as Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jourdan Lewis continued to spew hateful remarks.
The Lions’ fourth-year wide receiver used social media to criticize Lewis without specifically naming him shortly after the team exacted retribution for their contentious loss to America’s Team the previous season. Lewis knew exactly who he was referring to, though, as he sent St. Brown a direct message that read, “You a bitch.”
Even though St. Brown included some depressing emoticons in his response, it’s difficult to understand how heartbroken he must be. In the end, a Lions victory is probably all that mattered to him, even though his stats—four catches for 37 yards and a touchdown—didn’t light up the scoreboard.
The two have been with each other since the 2022 season, when the Cowboys defeated the Lions 24-6. St. Brown described a conversation he had with Lewis, stating that although he doesn’t chirp much, he will reciprocate if someone pursues him. ASB stated: “I’m like, ‘Yo, hold on. I’m gonna have to go hard. He was talking crazy out of pocket. [Jameson Williams] heard it too, he was coming in. At that point, it was like, I don’t know what he’s saying. I’m trying to make plays, win the game, I’m not worried about him,” “But once he starts talking like that, it’s like, if I do get a chance to kill him, I’mma kill him.”
Lewis didn’t appear to be overly excited with the change, and St. Brown shared the clapback for everyone to see. In 2025, the two sides will square off once more, so prepare your popcorn!
