Haason Reddick Used 12 or More “Black-Gloved Men” to Intimidate His Business Partner and Defrauded Him of $1.6 Million

A complaint claims that disgruntled Jets linebacker Haason Reddick, who forfeits $800,000 for each game of his contract stalemate, defrauded a business partner of $1.6 million and ordered goons to threaten him.

Reddick, 30, has not appeared for Gang Green since being dealt from the Philadelphia Eagles to New York in March. Reddick, whose agent resigned this week, may lose up to $21.75 million if his holdout continues through the season. According to football insider reports, it amounts to $14.25 million in base pay, $4.5 million in fines, and $3 million in forfeited bonuses.

According to a man from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who said he assisted Reddick in saving his failing senior health care company in the City of Brotherly Love, the acclaimed pass rusher is also a business failure.

Lawsuit against Haason Reddick

Reddick relied on his father, Raymond Matthews, and Matthews’ ex-wife, Tia Wright, to manage Haven Home Health Agency after purchasing it in 2018. It was “failing” by 2021, Micah Khan argued in a lawsuit.

Khan stated: “Wright and Matthews had no experience operating a home health agency and as a result the business was operating at a loss with zero patients,”

According to reports, Reddick agreed to offer the new partner half of the company’s sales revenues if he sold Khan’s Kingdom Health Services.

According to Khan’s statement in the lawsuit, Reddick “devoted little to no time to building Haven, and instead was pursuing a prosperous career in the NFL.” Khan “made making Haven a successful company his primary goal, working full-time on Haven’s behalf.”

Due to Khan’s magic touch, the struggling company became “a very successful company, with a large revenue stream and fully trained staff,” he claimed.

According to the court documents, three years later, Haven agreed to sell the business to MNH Pa. Home Care Acquisitions for $3.25 million in April, proving that “Kingdom’s efforts paid off.”

However, the lawsuit alleges that Matthews physically assaulted Khan “allegedly at the behest of Mr. Reddick” when he requested his portion of the money during a post-sale confab. Khan said :“Mr. Matthews brought over more than a dozen black-gloved men to a business meeting, claiming they were ‘Haason’s personal security,’”. “It was at this post-sale meeting that Mr. Matthews made it clear [they] intended to breach their payment obligations to Kingdom.”
