Ashley Fisler, 36, was taken into custody on Thursday after a former student alleged that the two had sex in her car and even in the classroom. The educator posted a photo of herself kissing her spouse on Facebook, showcasing her wedding band and engagement rock.
She complimented her spouse in a different post for learning how to ride a unicycle for a business talent event in just two days.
Six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a juvenile, one act of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of second-degree official misconduct were brought against Fisler, a resident of Washington Township in Gloucester County.
The maximum sentence for each first-degree charge is 20 years in jail, while the maximum sentence for each second-degree charge is 10 years.
According to the publication, Fisler allegedly had a sexual contact with a pupil in 2021 while working as a teacher at Orchard Valley Middle School.
