Although she admits that she is in love with Taylor Swift, Matthew Stafford’s wife was originally upset about the pop singer entering her life. She said that the NFL’s coverage of Travis Kelce’s romance made her “jealous.”
While discussing the subject on her “The Morning After” podcast, Kelly Stafford clarified that her problem wasn’t with Swift at all, but rather that her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs player was generating a lot of attention. Stafford said : “I will say I kind of got tired of the Chiefs’ coverage of it, actually the NFL’s coverage, of this budding relationship last year,” “And can she do anything about that? No, she can’t.”
Swift has done a great deal to encourage young girls to take up the sport, and she now admits that jealousy overcame her. She said : “I am so thankful for her in a lot of ways because there are so many more women watching, there are little girls watching with their dads and I do think it definitely makes my girls love football more knowing that she’s adjacent to it,” “I honestly think my girls are prouder of their dad because he’s playing the sport that Taylor Swift loves.”
Stafford attended Swift’s event in New Orleans earlier this week, demonstrating that she didn’t let her past emotions interfere with her enthusiasm.
