About the drama between Travis Hunter and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, TV personality Claudia Jordan is seriously concerned about their relationship brouhaha! Like, what is going on with these two?
Things have gotten pretty intense with Travis and Leanna lately. There’s been a lot of tension and hate from people on the internet, and Claudia can’t help but worry about their future together. It’s never a good sign when couples are constantly trashed and trolled for their pasts.
And Claudia is here to express her concern about what’s going on;
Reacting to Hollywood Unlocked’s post about Hunter deactivating his Instagram, she revealed how “concerned” she was for him. She began, “His entire moment has been eclipsed by the public’s focus on who HE CHOSE to be with.”
Jordan continued, “Right or wrong that’s a lesson HE has to learn. We do not know these people’s private conversations and I think it’s way past the point of ‘looking out for this man.’ These are young people who are newly famous and this has to be extremely difficult, embarrassing, and hurtful to both of them. Let’s all just try to be mindful of that, please. People have committed suicide for less! Please leave these young people who are SUPPOSED to make mistakes alone. I’m concerned.”
Another user compared Travis Hunter’s Heisman win and fiancée controversy to a similar situation retired NFL player Reggie Bush experienced. In April 2024, Bush had his 2005 Heisman trophy reinstated after having it rescinded for receiving endorsement deals with playing for the University of California Trojans football team. The move arrived after the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2021 decision that questioned the legality of the NCAA’s amateurism model and opened the door to athlete compensation; like the ability of college football players to be paid for their name, image, and likeness (NIL deals); and the NCAA’s recent proposal to remove the cap on education-related payments.
Referencing Reggie Bush, one user wrote, “Us old heads could you imagine us bullying Reggie Bush after he just won the Heisman? This is an insane era.” Jordan replied, “Exactly! This is so messed up! And they been together [for] 5 years! He’s just invested. Regardless of our opinions. Imagine how bad he’s feeling right now when he should be basking in his moment!”
