We got some breaking news on the suspect in the murder of Memphis rapper Sayso P and the shooting of Sauce Walka. According to the police, the suspect is a 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge. Yeah, you heard that right. Jayden Dandridge!
It’s crazy how stories like this can spread like wildfire, especially in the age of social media. People are buzzing, sharing their thoughts and theories online. But let’s not forget that there are real lives involved here. It’s a sad situation, and our thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) issued a warrant for 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge charging him with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and auto theft.
Those charges stem from the shooting that happened outside of the Westin Hotel just after 2:40 p.m. on March 22. That gunfire killed Sayso P and injured Houston rapper Sauce Walka.
Video released by TMZ shows the shooting. Two people get out of a white car, run up to Sauce Walka and Sayso P as they stand beside a black Escalade. Gunfire rings out, and Sayso P can be seen falling to the ground as Sauce Walka runs away.
MPD said that white car, a 2021 Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack, was stolen. Officers found the stolen Dodge shortly after the shooting.
Police said a $6,000 cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest of Dandridge. If you have any idea where he may be, MPD urged you to call Crimestoppers at 901-528-2274.
