According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, an assistant principal at a middle school in Florida is on administrative leave after allegedly rubbing her feet while making offensive remarks about him.
After the principal of Lake Marion Creek Middle School in Poinciana reported the event to the sheriff’s office on April 4, Dr. Keiva Lark, 53, the assistant principal, was charged by an authority figure with lewd/lascivious conduct and lewd offense against a student.
During an exam, the victim, a male student, 13, allegedly threw a balled-up piece of paper across the classroom and was brought to Lark’s office.
Two witnesses and the victim told the sheriff’s office that Lark had instructed him to rub her feet while she was in her office since he had nothing else to do with his hands. Then, according to reports, she removed her shoes and placed her legs across the boy’s lap.
He was massage her feet when she allegedly reprimanded him for doing it incorrectly and showed him how to do it properly on his arm and shoulder.
One witness reportedly heard Lark tell the teenager to “rub her feet like he loved her,” according to the sheriff’s office, while another claimed to have heard her add that she wanted him to do this “so he would know what foreplay is for when he gets a girlfriend.”
Detectives were informed by one of the witnesses that Lark told her a few days later that the student incident “crossed the line.”
Lark acknowledged acting improperly for her line of work, according to the sheriff’s office, but she did not say anything offensive to the victim.
