David Adelman Blunt Response to the Disappointing Game 2 Loss

In Game 2, the Denver Nuggets looked to extend their slim series advantage. Rather, they received a severe wake-up call. The Oklahoma City Thunder didn’t simply defeat them. They attacked them right away and didn’t turn around.

DDenver’s issues became increasingly apparent as the scoreboard continued to rise. David Adelman, the head coach of the Nuggets, didn’t mince words after the final buzzer. His frank postgame analysis was spot on.

In every aspect, the Thunder outperformed the Nuggets. When it came time to explain the blowout, the head coach of the Nuggets didn’t mince words, criticizing his squad and highlighting their shortcomings:

“We got punked.. We didn’t play well enough,” “They came out with right intensity and we didn’t.”

The obvious was not concealed in any way. Denver appeared to be stuck in neutral, while the Thunder applied pressure right away. The Nuggets were unable to close that early intensity and execution disparity as it quickly grew.

The Thunder had already lost 87 points at the half, which is a record for the NBA playoffs. From there, things just got worse.
