Resorts World Las Vegas actually refused to give a high roller a $10 smoothie after he was dropping $25k per hand in blackjack! Talk about penny-pinching.
I mean, come on, if this guy is spending that much money in your casino, the least you could do is throw in a smoothie for free! But hey, rules are rules, I guess. Who knew a $10 smoothie could cause such a stir in a place where people are dropping stacks of cash left and right?
Popular social media personality Cody Burnett, also known as Xposed, recently posted a video of himself and some friends playing blackjack at Resorts World Las Vegas, one of Sin City’s most popular casinos.
Folks who’ve gone to casinos in Las Vegas know that staff members usually hand out complimentary beverages to the customers, including alcohol. Free drinks are always a treat for visitors, but it’s a smart strategy by casinos to convince patrons to stick around longer and wager more money. And as everyone knows, the casinos win far more often than not.
In Burnett’s recently posted video, a Resorts World Las Vegas staffer can be heard taking drink orders from the blackjack players. One player asks for a strawberry banana smoothie, only to be asked if he has a room at the resort.
“Um, sure, you have a room with us?” the server asks, prompting the high roller to respond with “Nope.”
The server then tells the customer he could speak to the casino manager if he wants, and the group at the table agrees.
Next time you’re in Vegas, maybe think twice before you try to get a free smoothie at the blackjack table. You might end up not getting even water.
