Fans have been waiting years for Mayweather vs Pacquiao to rematch. Pacquiao and Mayweather’s first bout, which took place in May 2015, was one of the most eagerly awaited and profitable bouts in boxing history. Even though Mayweather prevailed by unanimous decision, Pacquiao and many of his supporters thought the outcome was unjust.
Manny said, “I thought I won the fight.”
The Filipino said this at the time, claiming that Mayweather “ran too much” throughout the bout and that he delivered more clean blows. Since then, there have been persistent whispers of a rematch, but they have never come to pass until now.
