Head Coach Mike Vrabel expressed his satisfaction with Diggs’ milestone, saying,
“Really enjoy being around him everyday… There’s been an energy… Highly competitive. He’s vocal, he cares, he’s a great teammate. He’s been really good for that position [group] and some of the younger guys’ development.”
Despite only 14 yards on three receptions, Diggs’ touchdown energized the team and boosted morale.
The touchdown reflects Diggs’ growing role in the Patriots’ offense, giving them a reliable red-zone target. New England now looks to carry this momentum into their next matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on November 2.
