50 Cent’s Baby Mama and Diddy’s Freakoff Partner Daphne Joy Drops New Mirror Selfies

Model and influencer Daphne Joy has found herself entangled in a high-profile web of legal and personal conflicts involving her ex-boyfriend, rapper 50 Cent, and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving a federal prison sentence.

The tensions, which exploded into public view in 2024 following a bombshell lawsuit, have continued to reverberate through late 2025, marked by custody disputes, allegations of abuse, and social media feuds.

The Connection to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs:

Joy’s involvement in the Combs controversy began in February 2024, when she was named in a $30 million sexual assault lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Combs.

In the civil filing, Jones alleged that Combs boasted about paying a “monthly stipend” to Joy and other women to operate as sex workers. Joy vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “100% false” and “character assassination” in a statement posted to her Instagram account.

“I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” Joy wrote at the time. “I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”

While Joy was named in the civil suit, she was not a central figure in the federal criminal trial that concluded in July 2025. That trial resulted in Combs’ acquittal on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, but a conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. On Oct. 3, 2025, a federal judge sentenced Combs to 50 months in prison.

Feud with 50 Cent:

The allegations against Joy reignited a volatile conflict with her ex-partner, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, with whom she shares a 13-year-old son, Sire.

Jackson, a longtime rival of Combs, seized on the lawsuit’s claims to mock Joy publicly. In a series of social media posts in early 2024, he referred to the mother of his child as a “little sex worker” and announced his intention to seek sole custody of their son.

“You moved a mile away in hopes of having another baby with me but I was busy. So you moved back and then you started receiving money from Brother Love,” Jackson wrote on X (formerly Twitter), referencing one of Combs’ nicknames.

The dispute escalated when Joy responded to Jackson’s custody filing with serious counter-allegations. In March 2024, she accused the rapper of rape and physical abuse during their relationship, which ended in 2012.

“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” Joy wrote in a now-deleted social media post. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father.”

Jackson denied the abuse allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit against Joy. However, court records show that Jackson voluntarily dropped the defamation suit without prejudice in September 2024, leaving the legal door open to refile in the future.

Current Status of the Relationship:

Despite the dismissal of the defamation case, tensions between the co-parents remained high throughout 2025. In June 2025, Jackson posted and subsequently edited a Father’s Day message that appeared to reference the ongoing custody battle, sparking renewed debate among fans about the nature of their co-parenting relationship.

As of November 2025, Combs remains incarcerated following his sentencing. Jackson continues to be a vocal critic of Combs while maintaining a high-profile presence in entertainment. Joy has largely retreated from discussing the legal matters publicly, focusing on her career as a model and content creator while continuing to deny any illicit involvement with Combs.
