FBI is stil searching for Olympic Snowboarder-turned-drug kingpin Ryan Wedding.
If you thought Olympic athletes only retired into coaching, commentary, or becoming TikTok fitness influencers, think again. Ryan Wedding, yes, a real former Canadian Olympic snowboarder has apparently taken a career path so dramatic it makes Netflix crime docuseries look underwritten. And now the FBI has released a brand-new photo of him as they ramp up their manhunt like they’re casting for the next “Narcos” season.
Wedding once represented Canada at the Olympics is now allegedly representing something entirely different: a massive international cocaine trafficking network.
Investigators say the image is important because Wedding keeps changing how he looks. Older photos show him with long hair and a full beard, while others show him clean-shaven with short hair. The FBI told the Toronto Star earlier this year that “we urge the public to be flexible when considering his appearance,” and agents believe he may have even had plastic surgery to avoid being recognized.
Investigators also linked Wedding to the killing of an Indian couple in 2023. Their daughter, who survived despite being shot 13 times, said, “I heard my mother’s last screams. After that, there was complete silence. Only the noises of gunshots.”
Now the FBI is practically yelling, “Tag us if you spot him!” And honestly? With $15 million on the line, people are zooming into that photo like they’re studying for finals.
So keep your eyes open. If Ryan Wedding strolls past you at a beach bar in Mexico, just remember: that’s not a surfer, that’s a headline.
