Ja Morant is at it again with a new 3-pointer celebration showing his obsession with firearms.
Ja Morant is back to doing Ja Morant things. And this time, it wasn’t a dunk that broke the internet. It was a celebration.
During a win over the Clippers, Morant knocked down a three-pointer and immediately debuted a brand-new celebration. The shot went in. The pose came out. And social media lost its mind.

The celebration was dramatic and it shows his obsession with firearms.
It appears that he’s retired the grenade-toss three-point celebration and added a new one that pays a hilarious homage to his past dealings with firearms.
Morant was suspended twice during the 2023 NBA season for flashing a gun on two separate Instagram Live streams. After displaying a gun on a stream in March, he decided to pull the same stunt two months later, ultimately serving a combined suspension of 33 games.
Ja Morant isn’t here to learn lessons from his past issues with the NBA concerning firearms.
Morant was fined for a fingergun celebration last season, but the NBA may not be able to hit him with a fine this time around given that he’s technically ‘putting the gun down.’
So yes, it was just a three-pointer. But in Ja’s world, every bucket is a chance to remind everyone he’s still him. He’s not changing is ways and always ready to face the consequences.
