Boxing champion Devin Haney is fighting back against a request by his ex-fiancée to post photos of their young daughter on social media without his approval, citing concerns over her online content and potential risks for their child.
Haney’s ex, Leena Sayed, filed court papers seeking to modify the couple’s current custody agreement so she can share images of their 1-year-old daughter, Khrome, on her Instagram account without needing Haney’s consent. The existing order requires both parents to agree in writing before their child’s photos are posted online.
In legal filings obtained by TMZ Sports, Haney’s attorneys argued that the posting restriction “does not unduly restrict” Sayed’s self-expression, but defended the measure as necessary “to tell her followers all she wishes about ‘her role as a mother.’”
Haney and his legal team took aim at Sayed’s online presence, including her work on OnlyFans, saying some of her content emphasizes adult themes that could attract followers for reasons unrelated to her role as a parent. The filing notes that certain captions on her page include explicit language and imagery.
“They are all of course protected by free speech,” Haney’s attorney wrote, but added that a celebrity child “on social media invites trouble.” The boxer’s team said Sayed “presents herself not only as a celebrity, but as a wealthy and fantasy-inducing celebrity,” raising concerns about who might view posts featuring their daughter. She is selling feet photos online as well.
Haney’s team included multiple exhibits from Sayed’s OnlyFans page, which include captions like “All set for an orgy” and that she is “looking to juice a c***, any c*** will do.”
Sayed, in her earlier filing, said social media is an important part of how she shares her life with friends and followers and that she should be allowed to post photos of Khrome without what she called Haney’s “unduly withheld” approval.
Haney’s response also referenced an instance in which he allowed a photo of Khrome watching him fight to be shared, but suggested he has been overly cautious in approving other requests.
A hearing on the custody modification request is expected later this month.
