A woman has publicly accused Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden of being the father of her newborn child, claiming in a social media post that he has failed to take responsibility despite her efforts to handle the matter privately.
The woman, who posted under the Instagram handle @_twinjim, shared her allegations in a message directly tagging Harden’s account, @jharden13. “I don’t like bringing things to the internet, but I’m done protecting an image that doesn’t reflect the reality,” she wrote. “You’ve known since day one, and you are just as responsible as I am. I stayed quiet because I wanted to handle this the mature way — but that only works when both people are acting like adults. Being the bigger person doesn’t mean carrying everything alone. It’s time for you to step up and take care of your son.”
The post, which included a photo of the infant, quickly circulated on other platforms, including X, where it was shared by accounts like @mymixtapez. As of Friday, the X post had garnered over 65,000 views, with users debating the claims in replies. Some expressed skepticism, with one commenter writing, “These women will do anything just for some breadddd,” while others called for legal action, such as, “Take that shit to court.”
The woman had the baby in August of 2025.
The accusation comes shortly after Harden, 36, opened up about his personal life in the second season of Netflix’s “Starting 5” documentary series, which premiered in October 2025. In the show, Harden revealed for the first time that he has a 6-year-old son named Jace and is expecting another son. He discussed the challenges of balancing his NBA career with fatherhood, saying he aims to be more present for his children. “I’m in my dad era,” Harden said in one episode, emphasizing his commitment to family.
Harden’s relationship with girlfriend Paije Speights has also been in the spotlight. While the couple is not officially engaged, Speights has referred to Harden as her “husband” on social media, fueling speculation about their future. A viral clip from “Starting 5” showed Harden reacting humorously to Speights catching a bouquet at a wedding, with him admitting, “I’m in love.” Speights later clarified the moment, noting Harden talks about marriage more than she does.
