Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard did not cheat on his ex-wife Kay’La Lillard with the woman alleged to be his child’s mother, according to sources familiar with the situation.
The woman, identified in court documents as Justie Wolf, is a digital creator and author. She released the book “Healthy Mama, Happy Baby: Healing my nervous system while nourishing my body” in October, in which she describes herself as a single mother. Wolf celebrated her daughter Aura’s first birthday in September 2025, according to posts on her social media. That timeline places Aura’s birth around September 2024 — after Lillard filed for divorce from Kay’La in October 2023.
Kay’La Lillard has subpoenaed Wolf in connection with the couple’s ongoing divorce and custody proceedings. The subpoena seeks communications between Wolf and Lillard about Aura, messages from around the time Lillard allegedly learned he might be the father, any paternity test results, related nondisclosure agreements and photographs of Lillard with the child.
Court documents indicate that Wolf is opposing the subpoena. She has not publicly commented on the paternity allegations or the legal action. Reports note that no photos of Lillard with Aura appear on Wolf’s social media. Wolf was also photographed at Fanatics Fest in July 2025.
In the latest development reported by TMZ, sources told the outlet that Lillard and Wolf had known each other for years through mutual friends, but their romantic relationship did not begin until after Lillard’s marriage to Kay’La had ended. The sources emphasized that Wolf “is not the type of woman who would knowingly get involved with a married man or help break up a family” and “would never be okay being a side chick.”
Lillard filed for divorce in October 2023 after roughly two years of marriage. The former couple, who wed in 2021, share three children. The divorce proceedings, which include disputes over custody and support, remain ongoing.
It remains unclear whether Lillard and Wolf are currently romantically involved. Neither Lillard nor his representatives have commented on the subpoena or the latest reports.
