Michael Irvin just had one of those “wait, what did I just see?” moments, and the internet has not stopped talking about it.
The NFL player was spotted on the sidelines during the Miami Hurricanes’ loss to Indiana. And yes, it was wild. Like “someone hit the ‘extra’ button” wild. The clip went viral fast, and people started saying all kinds of things.
But here’s the twist: Michael Irvin isn’t having any of the rumors. He has come out swinging, trashing the cocaine claims like they were a bad outfit at a high school reunion. He made it clear that the hype is fake news and that the whole situation is being blown way out of proportion. Classic Irvin energy.
“I hadn’t partaken in 20 years, but if you got some five hour stuff, let me know. Stop saying this stuff.” 💀
Michael Irvin has had enough of the allegations 😂

While Irvin didn’t deny to have done drugs in the past, he insisted that it wasn’t the case at the college season finale.
‘That’s the part that tripped me out too, right?’ Irvin said on Netflix’s ‘The White House’ podcast.
‘I’m there in front of the camera for five hours. After the game, I do a little belt thing, and everybody sends me all this, “Man, Mike, right now, he coked up right now. You all on coke.” I’m like, wait a minute. First of all, y’all know damn well coke don’t last for five hours. … I hadn’t partaken in 20 years. But if you got some five hour stuff, let me know. That’s what I’m saying. Like stop it. Stop saying this stuff.
‘When I used to get high, that’s exactly what I would say, no matter who I saw, “Oh he high, too.” Because you high. You want everybody to be high. Whenever you sit in your a** home, high, you want to think everybody else is high because your a** is high. I understand that, but the reality is, everybody ain’t high.’
The real story here is that Miami lost to Indiana. That’s the headline. The team had a rough day, and Irvin was just doing his job, being loud and hyped on the sidelines. But the internet couldn’t resist turning it into a scandal.
So yes, Michael Irvin’s sideline moment was wild. But the cocaine claims? He’s trashed that!
