Watch USA And Mexico Fans Brawl During World Baseball Classic In Houston

Houston recently turned into the ultimate reality TV set but with peanuts, foam fingers, and angry baseball fans. During a World Baseball Classic showdown between USA and Mexico, things in the stands got, let’s just say, spirited.

It all started like any other intense game. Fans cheered, waved flags, and shouted at umpires like they had PhDs in baseball logic. But somewhere along the game, things turned “chaotic.”

Rival fans seated in right field were caught on camera exchanging punches as a full on brawl developed.

A fan in a Mexico soccer jersey is seen going at the American fan, falling into the row below him and knocking over another US fan in an Aaron Judge shirt who was not involved in the fight.

After getting up, the Mexico fan delivered a number of vicious right hands before throwing his counterpart down the steps.

The American then gets up and is joined by another previously unseen fighter who then exchanges blows with the Mexico fan – who gets pushed down into the row below him again.

It’s unclear what happened next or when the fight came to a conclusion.

The Houston Astros declined to comment on this matter when asked by the Daily Mail. The Houston Police Department has also been contacted for comment.

American fans went home happy after holding on to beat Mexico 5-3.

Despite the chaos, the game itself went on. Baseball players stayed on the field, doing what they do best, while the stands turned into a live-action reminder that sports fandom can sometimes be extreme.

At the end of the day, Houston’s World Baseball Classic showdown will be remembered for two things: incredible baseball and fans who took “intense rivalry” very literally.

Next time someone says sports aren’t dramatic, just show them these clips, because nothing says “international showdown” quite like a brawl in the stands.
