Jeremiyah Love’s girlfriend drew widespread attention on social media Thursday night after the Arizona Cardinals selected the Notre Dame running back with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Aliece, who uses the Instagram handle @uniquealiece, posted a series of behind-the-scenes images and videos from the draft in Pittsburgh, including a black-and-white photo of the couple backstage in the green room, a mirror selfie showing off her brown halter-neck gown and a video selfie taken on a bus.
In one post, she wrote: “I’m so extremely proud of you babe, I can’t wait to watch you absolutely dominate in the NFL.”
Love, a 6-foot, 212-pound unanimous All-American, rushed for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final college season. He ran a 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. The Cardinals’ selection made him the first running back taken in the top five since Saquon Barkley went No. 2 overall to the New York Giants in 2018.
A video clip showing Love appearing to step back slightly as Aliece leaned in for a kiss moments after the pick also circulated widely online, sparking commentary across platforms.

Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur praised Love’s versatility in all three phases of the game.
“I’ve said this about running backs — they come in all shapes and sizes,” LaFleur said. “What’s unique about him in my opinion, is that in all three phases, run game, pass game and protection. He doesn’t have a weakness.”
Love expressed excitement about joining the Cardinals.
Love was joined at the draft by Aliece and other family members. The couple has not publicly detailed their relationship, though social media activity shows they have supported each other through his college career at Notre Dame.
The Cardinals’ general manager, Monti Ossenfort, said a brief delay in confirming the pick stemmed from a wrong phone number but that no serious trade discussions occurred.
Love’s high selection underscores the value some teams continue to place on elite running backs despite the position’s devaluation in recent drafts. He joins a short list of top-10 backs selected over the past decade that includes Leonard Fournette, Bijan Robinson and Ashton Jeanty.
Aliece’s posts quickly gained traction as fans reacted to the couple’s moment in the spotlight.
