Klaudia Zakrzewska, a 32-year-old beauty influencer and model known online as Klaudia Glam, has died after she was run over by a car outside a London nightclub in what police described as an alleged attack by a rival content creator.

Zakrzewska died Saturday, one week after the early-morning incident on April 19 outside Inca nightclub in London’s Soho neighborhood, according to authorities. She had been hospitalized with critical injuries.

Metropolitan Police said Gabrielle Carrington, 29, a former singer with the girl group Miss Dynamix and a 2013 “X Factor” contestant who is also an influencer, allegedly got behind the wheel of her black Mercedes following a heated clash with Zakrzewska. Carrington is accused of accelerating into Zakrzewska and then reversing the vehicle, police said.

The collision also injured a 58-year-old man, who suffered life-changing injuries, and Latisha Armstrong, who was in her 30s and sustained minor injuries.

Carrington was initially charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and driving while under the influence. After Zakrzewska’s death, the charges were upgraded to include murder, according to court records. She appeared in court, where she confirmed her identity and made a heart gesture toward supporters. She is scheduled to appear again May 19.

Police expressed condolences in a statement.

“We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Klaudia’s family and friends in light of this tragic update,” the Metropolitan Police said. “Our thoughts are also with everyone impacted by this incident.”

Zakrzewska, who was born in Poland and lived in the U.K., had more than 250,000 followers on Instagram. She worked as a model and brand ambassador, frequently posting about fashion and beauty. Carrington also built a following as a social media personality.

The incident followed a physical altercation between the two women outside the club, according to witness accounts and video circulating online. Authorities have not released additional details about a possible motive or any prior relationship between them beyond describing them as rivals in the influencer space.

The investigation remains ongoing.
