Nicole Cano Arrested For Robbing A Man After Luring Him To Her Luxury Apartment

Nicole Cano is learning the hard way that “come over for drinks” is not supposed to turn into a robbery.

The 30-year-old Florida woman was arrested after police say a casual Instagram invite turned into a full-blown robbery setup inside a luxury Biscayne Bay condo, because apparently nobody in Florida can ever just have a normal evening anymore.

According to an arrest affidavit cited by Local 10 News, the situation started on April 11 around 8 p.m. when Cano invited a man to her apartment to “have drinks.” Sounds harmless enough, right? Wrong!

Authorities say the victim showed up expecting cocktails and vibes. Instead, he walked straight into what sounds like the world’s worst Airbnb experience.

Police say that while the man was standing on Cano’s balcony, two other women suddenly emerged from a bedroom like backup dancers in the most criminal music video ever created, and that’s when things agot ugly.

According to investigators, the trio confronted the victim and demanded money. The man told them he didn’t have any cash, which apparently was not the answer they were hoping for.

And honestly, in 2026, who even carries cash anymore? Everybody taps phones now.

When the victim allegedly tried to leave the condo, police say a struggle broke out, where the women told him he was “going to pay” one way or another.

Nothing says “luxury condo experience” quite like getting cornered during a fake happy hour.

During the scuffle, the victim’s gold chain was yanked from his neck.

He managed to keep the chain, but a $300 gold cross pendant was taken before he broke free, fled the apartment and screamed for help, the affidavit states.

He later called police.

On May 1, the victim identified Cano in a six-photo lineup, according to the charging document.

Cano was arrested and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

She pleaded not guilty Tuesday and was assigned a public defender, court records show.

The wildest part is how fast the evening reportedly escalated. One minute it’s drinks with an Instagram blonde in a luxury condo, the next minute it’s chaos, demands for money, and police paperwork.

That’s why people online are once again repeating the oldest internet survival rule of all time: maybe stop going to random apartments because somebody with good selfies invited you over.
