Singer Amerie‘s monthly salary was disclosed during her acrimonious divorce from her ex-husband, Lenny Nicholson. The divorce decree from the case, which TMZ received, states that the ex-partners had no common bank accounts or real estate.
Amerie took a 2016 Range Rover along with her music companies, Amerie Inc., Cer One Touring, and Mi Suk Publishing. Nicholson was ordered by the judge to surrender Amerie’s TV tracks and an external hard drive that included her music files.
Lenny was given a $2,298 monthly child maintenance obligation by the court. Amerie was granted primary custody of their son.
The “1 Thing” singer stated June 25, 2011, as the date of marriage in her petition against Lenny. She said that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that they had been apart since April 2024. According to Amerie, they have a single son.
Lenny replied that for more than 20 years, he served as Amerie’s manager, tour producer, performance director, and business strategist. He asserted that he was not paid in full for the labor he performed during the marriage, including a portion of Amerie’s book publishing, merchandise, and music royalties.
According to Lenny, Amerie left the marital residence in April 2024 when he was recuperating from surgery.
