In honor of Father’s Day, Jennifer Garner posted never-before-seen photos of her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, with their kids. The “13 Going on 30” actress honored her father, William John Garner, and the fathers of her three children, Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14, on Instagram on Sunday in honor of the yearly event.
The 54-year-old Jennifer captioned the image:
“My sisters and I loved to spoil our dad; he never wanted for fresh baked cookies or a bowl of ice cream,”
“I see the way my kids dote on their dad and I’m happy for them. To love and be loved by a great dad is a gift,”
“Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and to the kids of dads, too. ♥️.”
The post featured a photo of the 53-year-old actor from “Gone Girl” posing outside with his younger daughters. It also featured a picture of Affleck holding Samuel in his arms while dressed as Batman.
The co-stars of “Daredevil” were married in 2005 and divorced in 2015. But their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2018. The pair has continued to be friendly co-parents despite their split.
In a rare statement regarding her divorce from Affleck in January, Jennifer described how “hard” it was to split up their family.
