Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs was seen having fun in New York City prior to Game 3 of the NBA Finals versus the New York Knicks.
A video showing Wemby appearing to sketch a monument while sitting in a New York City park has surfaced. He seemed to be laser-focused on the statue, though it’s difficult to see exactly what he was drawing.

Before a pivotal Game 3 in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Madison Square Garden, this is a great way to relax. In order to avoid falling behind 3-0 in the NBA Finals, Wemby and the Spurs must win.
Wemby caused Jalen Brunson to miss with less than 20 seconds remaining in the game. At 104 apiece, the game was tied. On the quick break, the Spurs had an opportunity to retake the lead.
Then, Wembanyama committed a critical mistake by tossing the ball into Stephen Castle’s back. Brunson was fouled after picking up the ball. The Knicks took a one-point lead when he converted one of his two free throws.
Wembanyama then took the final shot, but he missed it. As the series moves to New York City, the Knicks now have a 2-0 lead thanks to this victory.
