Pierre “P” Thomas, co-founder and CEO of Atlanta-based Quality Control Music, is hospitalized in intensive care in Las Vegas after suffering a heart attack, according to multiple reports Friday.

TMZ first reported the exclusive details, stating Thomas is under doctors’ care with family members at his side as medical staff determine next steps. No official statement has been released by Quality Control Music or Thomas’ representatives confirming further details of his condition.

Social media accounts, including SaycheeseDGTL, circulated reports earlier Friday claiming Thomas had “reportedly passed away” from a heart attack. Those claims remain unverified, and several posts and replies quickly noted the discrepancy with the hospitalization reports. Accounts such as Daily Loud and others later updated or clarified the situation to reflect the TMZ account of a serious but non-fatal medical emergency.

Thomas, widely known in the industry as QC P or Pee, co-founded Quality Control Music in 2013 with Kevin “Coach K” Lee. The label became one of the most influential independent forces in hip-hop and trap, launching or elevating the careers of Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and others. Under Thomas and Lee’s leadership, QC grew into a major cultural and commercial powerhouse, later expanding into film and television projects and completing a high-profile merger involving HYBE.

The label’s roster and business moves helped define a generation of Atlanta sound and artist development. Thomas has remained a visible executive figure in the industry for more than a decade.
