Tobey Maguire has officially entered a storyline nobody saw coming. The “Spider-Man” star officiated his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer’s wedding to billionaire heir Geoff Ogunlesi, proving that some former couples are capable of getting along without turning their breakup into a Netflix documentary.
Yes, you read that correctly. Tobey was not hiding at home or pretending he had suddenly lost his phone. Instead, he was front and center as Jennifer walked down the aisle to marry another man.
The wedding took place at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii. And judging by the photos, Tobey was not just another guest sitting quietly in the corner. He played a key role in the ceremony.

Tobey is all smiles as he reads from a piece of paper while Jennifer and Geoff share a kiss surrounded by flowers … talk about an unconventional family reunion!
And this wasn’t some low-key destination wedding … the guest list was packed with Hollywood heavy hitters, including Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Jeff Bezos, Courteney Cox and Rachel Zoe.
Tobey and Jennifer’s two kids, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, also took part in the ceremony … and Ruby shared a sweet photo of herself posing with a young man at the festivities.
Jennifer, 49, and Geoff, 34, also welcomed a baby together this summer … adding another little one to the blended family.
Most people struggle to return a hoodie after a breakup. Tobey, meanwhile, was helping his former wife say “I do” to a new man. Somewhere, millions of people are looking at their own messy relationship histories and wondering where they went wrong.
Of course, the internet had questions. How many people would willingly officiate their ex’s wedding? How many could stand there smiling while their former partner promises forever to somebody else?
For some people, that assignment would require a therapist, three motivational speeches, and a very strong drink. Tobey apparently showed up ready to do the job.
Tobey may have hung up his Spider-Man suit, but he has certainly delivered a masterclass in keeping things civil.
