Packers Jordy Nelson hurt his knee during week 2 of the Preseason. Recently many have questioned how necessary the preseason is considering the dangerous nature of football. Lions DB Glover Quinn spoke to MLive about it being God plan for Jordy to get injured.
“I hated Jordy got hurt, but in my beliefs, and the way I believe, it was — God meant for Jordy to get hurt…So if he wouldn’t have got hurt today, if he wouldn’t have played in that game, if he wouldn’t have practiced anymore, and the next time he walked on the field would have been opening day, I feel like he would have got hurt opening day.”
There is God plan and there is unnecessary risk. I really don’t think God cares about football, he has bigger issues troubling him. God’s didn’t mean for Jordy to get hurt, God’s fantasy football team is riding on Jordy being hurt. If Glover gets burnt on a route is that God’s plan?
