Hypocrisy is the word of the day.
Do as I say, not as I do.
ESPN canceled Barstool Van Talk because they lied and said they didn’t realize the Barstool brand would be associated with it (considering Barstool is in the title, they leads me to believe ESPN thinks we are idiots).
The President of Barstool Dave Portnoy came out with a video explaining the hypocrisy of ESPN. One of the interesting he pointed out was home many people at ESPN love Barstool.

ESPN says they don’t want to be associated with Barstool, but if internally they are doing things that they are accusing Barstool of, what does that make them?
Barstool never lies about who they are, that is why they have such a huge audience, the audience ESPN sought out. ESPN is trying to say that they are more high class than that, but are they?
Jenn Sterger who you may know as the woman who unintentionally outed Brett Favre for sending her dick pics and sexually harassing her.
While she did get a massive amount of attention for that, a lot of the blowback from it, was she was objectified in the media as a slut, groupie, homewrecker and gold digger. She lost her job with the Jets and the NFL treated Favre more like a victim.
She posted on Twitter a story about meetings with ESPN and the sexual harassment she faced. The interesting thing about the stories are the executives and talent at ESPN even after the harassment kept moving up the food chain.
If you believe her story, it shows a couple of things. One that white males can pretty much do whatever they want and will continue to fail up. That ESPN is being hypocritical now by saying they don’t want to be associated with Barstool.
Here was ESPN’s reply and how Sterger looks at it.
