They always say, “let ya next move, be ya best move”, and Post-ESPN life does not seem to be treating Jemele Hill half bad today. According to Hollywood Reporter, Hill will narrate LeBron James’s basketball documentary, Shut Up and Dribble, in homage to Laura Ingraham’s and Fox News Networks’ aggressive prejudices towards all people, who are basically just not white.
Jemele Hill also says LeBron also specifically chose her to narrate his documentary in order to really spark up some real dialogue in the conversation about gender roles and expectations for women in our society:
Also, see my comments in this piece about how @KingJames is a driving force in the gender conversation, especially when it comes to amplifying black women https://t.co/qOmfx4Tls8

Still, it’s unusual — though it shouldn’t be — to hear a woman narrate a sports documentary. Especially, a black woman.
Lately LeBron has talked about gender and wanting to uplift and position black women in particular…
I get the sense that this is all part of that. He was raised by a black woman, he is married to a black woman and he is raising a black woman (daughter Zhuri, 3). If you look at the societal ladder, black women remain on the lowest rung. He clearly understands that we are facing a unique battle. It means a lot that he understands the intricacies of that.
In other words, get you a Journalist that can do both.
The doc is also going to feature a bunch of other superstars that you might have heard of before including (but not limited to): Isaiah Thomas, KD, Sir Charles, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, and probably the rest of the members LeBron’s barbershop quartet crew too.
