The Knicks have announced they are finally waiving Joakim Noah using the stretch provision. They couldn’t agree to a buyout, so he is going to get the full $38 million he is owed on his contract.
The Knicks paid Noah $72 million in total for 53 games where he averaged 4 points and 7 rebounds a game.
No one thought it was a good contract at the time and we all were proven right.
