Gregg Williams is going down like Superhead.
The Washington Postreports that former Redskins say they had a bounty system similar to the Saints’, where players would be rewarded for hits that injuring opponents. Instead of New Orleans’s “cart-offs” and “knockouts,” the Skins under Gregg Williams paid out sums for “kill shots.”
The payouts ranged from the “hundreds to thousands of dollars,” with the biggest sum for a single hit being $8000. “Sean Taylor made a lot,” said Phillip Daniels, the only player to go on the record.
