Against the Indiana Pacers, the San Antonio Spurs claimed their second victory in as many games. The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Indiana Pacers 117-105 at the Frost Bank Center tonight, continuing their winning streak.

After just 16 points at the end of the first quarter, the offensively dominant Pacers were held to a low by the Spurs thanks to their solid defensive play. With that lead, San Antonio was able to take command of the game. San Antonio managed to stay in the game even after Indiana took a lead of their own. Midway in the third quarter, the Spurs went on an 11-0 run that gave them a lead they would not let up.
Wembanyama keeps going strong
With less than five minutes remaining, the Pacers managed to narrow the gap to just one point; however, a 10-0 run gave the Spurs a comfortable lead that allowed them to coast to victory.
Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with xx points on xx of xx shots from the field as he maintained his incredible rookie campaign. In addition, he blocked six shots, pulled down 12 rebounds, and provided six assists.
T.J. McConnell scored 26 points off the bench to lead the Pacers in scoring. Tyrese Haliburton, an All-Star point guard, had a difficult game, scoring just 12 points and missing all six of his 3-point shots.
After defeating the Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves on January 26–27, the Spurs haven’t won back-to-back games since.
When San Antonio visits the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, they aim to win three straight games.
