A lot of athletes filter what they say because they fear they’d make the wrong person mad. Adrien Broner is not one of those athletes.
In an interview with VladTV, Broner talks about moving up to welterweight and asking to fight Paulie Malignaggi. He details how the fight ended up happening and the way he was able to get into Malignaggi’s head by sleeping with his girl and bringing her to the weigh-in.
He says he was sleeping with Malignaggi’s girl the whole week of the fight.
Broner also says that he can joke about the situation now because the two are now friends.
