Athletes stop bringing people who you just met back to your place of residence.
Because in the end it is your name that is going to be in the headline.
A Middleburg Heights woman told police that Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt “shoved and pushed” her in a weekend dispute at The Metropolitan at the 9 in downtown Cleveland, according to a police report.
Abigail Ottinger, 19, of Middleburg Heights, told police that Hunt assaulted her around 3:45 a.m. Saturday outside Hunt’s hotel apartment, but another woman who was with Hunt’s friends said that Ottinger assaulted her, police reports say.
Hunt’s friend told police they kicked the women out of the apartment when they learned both were 19 years old, but Ottinger said that they were kicked out because she “didn’t want” one of the men in the group, the report says.
One of Hunt’s former college teammates told police the accuser went crazy after they were told to leave — and “began calling him and Hunt the N-word and specifically she stated, ‘F*ck you n*gger. You Ain’t sh*t.”
Ottinger’s friend said she tried to tell Ottinger that they should leave, but Ottinger “really wanted to stay” and became “very dramatic” and “very upbeat” once they were kicked out, the report says.
Hunt’s friend said the women stayed out in the hallway for about 30 minutes as Ottinger continued to yell and pound on the apartment door, the report says.
When Hunt spoke to Cleveland police, he said he asked the women to leave and told his friend that the pair could not stay. Hunt said he went to bed, and later told someone to call security when he could still hear the women out in the hallway, the report says.
Kareem Hunt has too much to lose to even be involved in these type of situations. Don’t invite strange white women or women in general back to your room.
You are just asking for trouble.
