Wash St. Players Jamal Atofau & Andre Barrington Busted For Growing Weed

This is straight from the movie “How High” with Method Man & Redman.

Except this isn’t a movie and the cops arrested them.  Barrington and Atofau both are redshirt freshman on the Washington St. football team and obviously had way too much time on their hands.

They didn’t just grow one marijuana tree, but:

Sports By Brooks has the rest of the details:

Pullman police spokesman Cmdr. Chris Tennant said that while executing an unrelated search warrant, they discovered the marijuana plants growing in a basement room. Later the cops found manufacturing equipment and paraphernalia. All four residents of the house, including the two football players, were arrested.

All four were charged with a violation of the uniform controlled substance act, the severity of which depends on the weight of the marijuana seized. That will be determined when the plants are dry, according to Tennant.

The question begs were the two players just innocent bystanders as the other two residents ran their Tony Montana-esque empire?

Hard to tell, but I am sure they smoked a bit of the Michael Phelps when they were sitting around watching The Boondocks.

Someone will turn on sombody and maybe they will skate on the charges, but until then.
