Earlier today we brought you the story about a former Wake Forest student who is going on the Today Show to accuse two Wake Forest basketball players of sexually assaulting her in 2009.
(Woman Will Accuse Two Wake Forest Baketball Players of Rape on Today Show)
At the time, I thought the process was curious because we had never heard about this incident before, but now thanks to The Big Lead a police report has surface and the details as you can imagine are a bit confusing.
According to the report, the student told investigators that on the morning of March 21 she was heading back to her hotel room when she ran into Teague, who was sitting in the hallway. They talked and Clark joined them, the report said. Clark and Teague asked her questions about performing oral sex, and she told Teague that she liked him, the report said.
Teague asked her if she wanted to go to his hotel room with them, and they did, the report said. Clark and the student went into the bathroom, and Teague closed the door and stayed outside, the report said.
The student said that Clark dropped his pants and asked her to touch his penis. She refused, then Clark asked her to perform oral sex on him, the report said. The student told investigators that she did perform oral sex on Clark because she felt she had no choice, according to the report.
Afterward, Teague walked her back to her hotel room and asked her what happened. When she told him, Teague hugged her, kissed her on the neck and left.
If I am reading the report correctly, Teague and Clark spoke to the woman about oral sex and then ask her back to their hotel room.
Once they got to the hotel room, the woman performed oral sex on Clark in the bathroom why Teague waited outside because she “thought she had no choice”.
There is nothing saying Clark “forced” himself on the women, just that she felt she had no choice. Was she threatened? Did she feel Clark or Teague would harm here? Were they not just talking about giving oral sex?
If it was Teague who she admitted she liked as oppose to Clark would there have been an issue or complaint?
These are questions I hope that are answered on The Today Show.
The police didn’t charge Teague or Clark with anything citing lack of evidence and I can see why because the story seems to have a lot of holes in it. Not saying she is lying, but not at any time in the report does it say anything about being in danger, being fearful or Clark or Teague physically harming her.
She might have believed she had no choice, but the fact is she did have a choice, she could have said no.
