My advice for T.O. is just to sign the IFL deal.

I doubt any of the teams left in the playoffs have any interest in adding T.O. as a Super Bowl ringer.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, discussion between the Wranglers and Owens continue, and a decision is expected within the next week or so.

It could be that Owens wants to be completely sure that no one will need him for the conference title games or the Super Bowl before making the commitment to the IFL team, which begins its season in late February.

If you recall they were offering T.O. 250k, considering he is making zero money right now, he has to take the deal and maybe just maybe prove he is healthy enough for a team to take a chance on him next year.

  1. T.O. should just retire and join the cast of either NFL Network or ESPN. He probably could sign at least for close to million a year being analyst.
