Lions Justin Durant Says He Would Eat Chick-Fil-A Even If they Supported Slavery

I have said this many times, but I think arguing over religious beliefs is dumb. There are millions of religions and only one can be right, so you can’t tell someone they are wrong in their belief.

If the Chick-Fil-A CEO doesn’t support gay marriage who cares. As long he isn’t discriminating against gays or saying he wants to kill them he can believe what he wants.  If he illegally spent company money on things he shouldn’t have that is another story, but is something that should be handle by the company or Feds if need be.

Think of it like this.  If you spent $500 supporting gay rights organization and someone else spent $500 on an organization that is against same sex marriages, if either says the other is going to hell they are wrong, because neither knows.

But, it has become a big thing, because everything is a big deal these days. Lions Justin Durant gave his 2 cent on the matter and here is what he had to say via his Twitter account.

He started off saying exactly what I just said.

Once again he was on a good path.

Then he might have went a little too far.

While I am supporter of gay rights, they aren’t enslaved, so Durant might has taken his love for chicken to the extreme with that last Tweet.

It was a hypothetical question, but the fact of the matter is if you want to eat Chick-Fil-A that is your business, if you don’t that is fine to, it isn’t that serious.

You realize that people are up in arms not because the founder says “I don’t like gay marriage”, but because he has used chik fil a profits to actively contribute millions to organizations that are determined to crush gay rights? Claiming this is “dumb” because it’s arguing about beliefs is just straight out ignorant.

  2. Question Anant if he used those millions for gay rights would you be upset?

That is why the point is FLYING over your head.

The only person who benefits from this issue is the owner of Chick-Fil-A (Dan Cathy). His beliefs won’t change, but his balance sheet will look pretty nice after all of the extra business.
