Charleston White apparently had a birthday celebration to remember. Just not for the reasons anyone would want.
The comedian and internet personality reportedly found himself at the center of a scary situation while visiting Houston, Texas. Reports claimed White had been shot at during a visit to the city.
Apparently, attending a birthday celebration is not always as simple as eating cake and taking pictures.
According to early posts on X, White was reportedly targeted in Houston’s Fifth Ward neighborhood. The posts quickly spread online and had people wondering what happened.
Thankfully, the early reports also claimed White was not injured.
And White later appeared to confirm that himself.

The comedian has addressed the situation.
Instead of only confirming the shooting, White described what he says happened before and after the incident, claiming a group confronted him over comments he had made in the past. He also announced that he plans to contact the FBI, while making several explosive remarks involving J Prince during the stream.
In the video, the 49-year-old claimed he had gone to the neighborhood by himself and said around 30 people eventually gathered at the location.
While describing the encounter, White said:
“Not only did they shoot at the car… all they wanted to do was plead with me. To apologize to J Prince.”
He then went on to make several explicit remarks directed at J Prince, alleging that those involved had an opportunity to harm him but did not.
A birthday celebration should come with balloons, music, and maybe a questionable cake, and not gunfire.
Hopefully, the next Houston celebration White attends is much less dramatic and comes with nothing more dangerous than someone stealing the last piece of birthday cake.
