Kevin Durant lives for playing in historical buildings and in front of big crowds. So you have to blame him for being disappointed that his one visit to Madison Square Garden felt a little underwhelming.
After the Thunder ran the Knicks out of their own building, Durant told reporters that the Garden felt empty.
“It felt like no one was in here,” Kevin Durant said after the Thunder crushed the Knicks on Christmas Day.
Durant went on to say that Knicks fans “love their team so much. We respect passionate fans like these fans. We knew that it was going to be hard to play through.”
