Star forward Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans is expected to miss up to two weeks after re-aggravating his nagging shoulder injury.
The Pelicans announced Sunday that Davis MRI confirmed he has a sprained right shoulder and will miss up to two weeks. Davis missed two games before the All-Star break after initially hurting his shoulder on February 7th in a game against the Chicago Bulls.
Davis physical presence will be missed on the court. He is averaging 23.9 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.
