Derrick Henry is now the greatest single season rusher in Alabama Crimson Tide history.
The Crimson Tide running back and Heisman Trophy candidate broke the program’s single-season rushing record during Saturday’s game against the in-state rival Auburn Tigers adding butter to the cornbread.

Henry passed Trent Richardson in the third quarter of Saturday’s Iron Bowl, with a little more than 16 minutes remaining in the game, and he now has 1,682 yards on the season.
Henry now sits ahead of the likes of Mark Ingram, Shaun Alexander, Eddie Lacy, T.J. Yeldon and Trent Richardson to name a few.
