Grayson Allen just can’t stop tripping people, which is similar to Draymond Green’s propensity to kick players. The difference is, Draymond’s kicks appear to be caused by his body flailing as he braces for contact, but with Grayson Allen, his trips look like they are designed to stop his opponent from gaining an advantage.
After his latest tripping incident and subsequent bench tantrum while facing Elon Phoenix, many in the media and public who saw his antics were calling for a suspension. Grayson Allen has now tripped at least 3 opposing players during his time at Duke. However, Coach K was having none of it and responded strongly to the suspension suggestions with the following:

There is a pattern of behavior here with Allen and it’s not what a team leader of a major Division I program should exhibit. Coach K’s apparent reluctance to suspend Allen should be looked at as the reason it keeps on occurring. So now is the time for Mike Krzyzewski to do something different and suspend Allen in order to force a change in behavior.
